Plain-English answers to what you can do with the models you get from PrintCraft 3D, including selling the physical prints.

PrintCraft 3D Commercial License

Terms for printing and selling physical prints.

1. What you get. A non-exclusive, non-transferable license to print the models in your PrintCraft 3D member library and sell the physical prints. No limit on the number of prints.

2. What's allowed. Print for personal use or to sell physical prints. Sell your prints wherever each platform's own rules allow: your own store, social media, craft fairs, markets and custom orders. Use photos and videos of your prints in your marketing.

3. What's not allowed. Reselling, sharing or distributing the digital files (STL, 3MF), free or paid, including modified versions. Uploading the files to groups, websites, cloud drives, torrents or model marketplaces. Presenting the digital designs as your own.

4. Personal access. Your member account is for you only. Don't share your account or your sign-in links.

5. Ending the license. If these terms are broken, the license and member access end. Prints you already sold stay sold.

Issued by PrintCraft 3D. Use is subject to the terms above.

In short

  • Print the models and sell the prints, as many as you like.
  • Show your prints in photos and videos.
  • Don't share, resell or upload the digital files, and don't share your account.

License labels in the members area

Every collection in the members area carries a label that says where the model comes from and which rules apply. The Commercial License above covers the models marked PrintCraft Original. Models from other designers follow their own terms.

  • PrintCraft Original. A piece made in-house by PrintCraft 3D. It is covered by the PrintCraft 3D Commercial License above.
  • CC0. A model released by its designer into the public domain. Credit is not required.
  • CC BY (credit required). A model shared under the Creative Commons Attribution license. You must credit the designer, and the credit is shown with the model.
  • Link only. The model stays on its designer's own site, and we link you there. It belongs to the designer, and our Commercial License doesn't cover it. Check the designer's terms before selling prints.
  • Archive. A third-party model that we host so you can download it inside the members area. It isn't a PrintCraft Original, so the Commercial License above doesn't cover it. Check the designer's terms before selling prints.
